Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten Setzlinge heranzuziehen. In einige Gemeinden wird das Heranziehen zentral gesteuert. Dann haben wir lediglich eine Umzäunung zu bauen, um die freilaufenden Ziegen von den Setzlingen fernzuhalten und für ein provisorisches Dach zu sorgen, denn in den ersten Monaten dürfen die Propaguls, wie die Samen genannt werden, nicht direkt in der Sonne wachsen. Wenn sie in den Pflanztüten stecken, wachsen sie rasant, weil sie bereits am Baum angefangen haben zu keinem. Das hat die Natur schlau eingerichtet, denn diesen Vorsprung nutzen die reifen Samen, wenn sie auf den Boden fallen oder sich in den weichen Boden bohren.
